                " ข้าพเจ้าใคร่ขอให้ท่านทั้งหลายจงมั่นอยู่ในความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต ถือเอาประโยชน์ส่วนรวมเป็นที่ตั้ง เพราะคุณธรรมอันนี้เป็นมูลฐาน อันสำคัญที่จะยังความเจริญ และความเป็นปึกแผ่นแก่สังคม เป็นบ่อเกิด แห่งความสามัคคีกลมเกลียว ความซื่อสัตย์ที่ว่านี้ หมายถึง ความสุจริต ซื่อตรงต่อหน้าที่การงาน ต่อตนเองและต่อผู้อื่น ที่เกี่ยวข้อง มีเจตนาบริสุทธิ์ไม่เอารัดเอาเปรียบ สำหรับท่านที่ใช้วิชากฎหมาย ย่อมกินความถึงการรักษาความเป็นธรรม ไม่บิดเบือน ความหมายของตัวบทกฎหมาย เพื่อประโยชน์ของตนเองด้วย ความซื่อสัตย์สุจริตจะเป็นเสมือนหนึ่งเกราะคุ้มภัยแก่ท่านตลอดไป ดังบทพระราชนิพนธ์ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวที่ว่า “สุจริตคือเกราะบัง สาตรพ้อง” "
